Honest Madrasa Teacher Returns Rs 2.43 Lakh Found on Road, Inspires Community - Deccan Voice

A madrasa teacher demonstrated remarkable honesty by returning Rs 2.43 lakh in cash that he found on Kelaginapete Road. Abdul Mazeed Faizi, a teacher at Manazul Islam Madrasa, was crossing the road on the morning of May 28 when he noticed a bundle of cash lying there. Upon opening it, he found it contained currency notes. Without hesitation, he reported his discovery to the Madrasa administrative committee.

The committee verified the find with local residents and identified the owner as Sripati Srikant Bhat, a local resident. Bhat promptly arrived at the Madrasa to retrieve his money. He was deeply grateful to Abdul Mazeed Faizi for his honesty and integrity in returning the lost cash.
