Hacker’s Modus Operandi

The hacker posted the stolen data online, selling it for $150. He used Telegram IDs for potential buyers to contact him. Despite his attempts to hide, the TGCSB tracked him down using social engineering techniques.

Previous Cybercrimes

The hacker had a history of cybercrimes, including leaking Aadhaar data. He was previously arrested for similar activities. The police continue investigating to identify any accomplices.

Assurance of Data Safety

Officials assured the public that no sensitive or financial data was compromised in the breach. They emphasized that the Hawk Eye app only retained basic user information and that TSCOP did not collect visitor or hotel management data.
