Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, India – A tragic derailment of the Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express occurred today in Pikaura, located between Gonda and Jhilahi in Uttar Pradesh. The accident has resulted in the deaths of two passengers and left 26 others injured. Several coaches, including four AC compartments, derailed just a few kilometers before the Jhilahi railway station.

Rescue teams, including a 40-member medical unit and 15 ambulances, have rushed to the scene to assist the injured. More ambulances are on their way to support the ongoing relief operations.
